Samuel Harris Altman (* 22. April 1985 in Chicago, Illinois) ist ein US-amerikanischer Unternehmer, Investor und Softwareentwickler. Er war von 2014 bis 2019 Präsident des Gründerzentrums Y Combinator. Seit 2019 ist Altman CEO des Softwareunternehmens OpenAI. Im November 2023 wurde er überraschend entlassen, aber wenige Tage später im Amt bestätigt.
